Invisible printing - making cell contents not show when printed

I have a test sheet to be used by others. Within some of the cells are True/False results that are used in formulas in other cells. I don't want the True/False cells showing their result when I print. How can I set this?

I have tried white font, that doesn't show on screen but is showing in the print preview.

I know I can put them on another sheet or outside the print area, but I'm still wondering if it can be done as I might want to print it with them showing for a validation copy.

White on white doesn't show here either.

Is your printer driver up to date and is Excel recognizing your printer?

I don't have a printer drive on it as such. I'm on my laptop which has never been connected to a printer. I'm using it at home as it has Excel 07 and the plan will be to transfer by usb stick to a work's pc.

Select those cells, Home tab, Format > Format Cells > Number tab, Category: Custom, paste ;;; in the Type box.

Not having a printer driver installed may be the cause of your problem. Some of the display that Office uses is based on using the printer driver. I had all kinds of problems with not getting what I thought was being produced until I installed a printer driver even though I don't have a printer attached or even available to this computer. The colour interpretation especially is affected. White may not be white at all.

I didn't think that the printer driver had much to do with Excel until I experimented with a printer driver for a black print only laser printer.

I'll wait on this one and load the file at work and see if that solves it. I have a few other issues/questions to do.
