Large worksheet, 10000+ rows and GP columns.

One of the columns was formatted as text when it was populated with data. It turns out that that column needs to be formatted as number.
There are blank cells scattered thru the column but the rest are numbers and numbers only.

When I highlight the whole column and change the format to number, that action seems to work properly.

But when I try to filter on that column, after clicking on the little arrow at the top of the column, the dropdown box lists "text filters" not number filters. A true number filter is essential (the "between" selection).

Any help please ?
