I have done an OCR of some pdf's and they imported into an Excel document. Now, my OCR sometimes takes a crap and the dates that populate are often wrong. The formatting gets garbled where I have a date that reads 09/15/2013 and the OCR interprets the / as the number 1 so it looks like 0911512013 in my spreadsheet. Not all of these are like that, and it's a real pain to manually go through the lines to see which ones fouled up. It almost defeats the purpose of the OCR.
So, my question is, what would I do in the way of making a rule in conditional formatting (or otherwise) that would flag me or auto-correct the wrong dates? It would be helpful if there was a macro, or conditional formatting that would just change the color of the wrong dates so I could manually change them, or could something be done to auto-format them correctly?
I would appreciate any and all advice on this! Thank you so very much.
