    Question Best way to model this data...

    Hi guys,

    This is more of a theoretical than a functional Excel one, but I'm sure it's applicable.

    Let's say a website is seeing a sales conversion funnel of the following:

    Homepage visits - 10k
    Product visits - 7k
    Add to basket - 3k
    Payment screen - 2k
    Conversions - 0.5k

    Sales - 100k USD

    Let's say the site aims to tweak ts "Payment screen" funnel throughput from the current 25% to 35% (therefore increasing total "Conversions" from 500 to 700).

    How best would I project and present what impact that might have on the "Sales" figure?

    Thanks you kindly,

    Z

    I'm not sure if I understand well, but ... it is (700/500) or in other words: 35%/25%
    -> 1.4 times (or 40% added)

    If the output is lineary dependant it shall be also 1.4 times previous one so 140k.

    If not - who knows?
    Best Regards,

    Kaper
