Hi
I didn't think this would be too difficult but I can't find any references on-line. I'm trying to get a hyperlink to go to a different location in the same workbook but I need it to do so in a new window.
This would be perfectly easy to set up with a macro via a command button, but because there's so many involved in the workbook it's slowing it down too much. Hyperlinks are much faster.
Any suggestions?

if you only want to link to one instance of a new window then when the workbook is open on the view tab click new window
that will give you a window called yourworkbook.xlsx:2 and the original will be yourworkbook.xlsx:1
if you then use yourworkbook.xlsx:2 as the main workbook any hyperlinks will jump to the correct place in :1 and :2 will remain on the same sheet
