Hi,
Some columns in excel have disappeared and I can't get them to show again.
I have tried unhiding and unfreezing panes - didn't work.
Any advice?
Thanks
Reni

Which columns are we talking about ?
Loads of columns on the right. It only shows days up to Oct 2013, I had columns to show all of 2014 (about 200 columns)?
You know the data better than me. There doesn't seem to be any hidden columns, so if they have gone then they have been deleted.
Which columns do you think are missing?

The file is saved as .xls (i.e. Excel 2003 or earlier). This file format only allows 256 columns, which is what you have there.
I worked on the spreadsheet in excel 2007. Are the column gone or can I retrieve them?
Since the file is in 2003 format the allowed columns is upto IV.
You already used until IU so now I just unhiddent the IV in the attached file![]()

Thanks you all for looking into it.
I think all the other columns got lost as I saved it as 2003.
I wasn't aware that 2003 doesn't allow as many columns as the newer versions do. Will certainly keep it in mind for future!
Thanks again
