    Turning the row Green when any date is entered in a cell

    I am trying to turn the row green when I have completed the job and enter the date of completion .

    use conditional formatting
    mark all row (say 2nd) and new conditional formatting rule based on formula would be
    =$D2>0
    assuming your date is in column D
    and use green fill as formatting.
