    Question Removing deciamls with out rounding in excel 2007

    Good Morning,
    I am looking for some assitance, I have recived a CSV file with dollar amounts that need to be formated with out a deciaml and with our rounding. Example I need 12558.64 to be changed to 1255864. ANy assitance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    Well, to do that you need to multiply by 100, but if you had a value of 123.456 you would need a multiplier of 1000. It might be easier just to remove the decimal point, but it is a bit difficult to give a definitive answer as you only show one example.

    Thanks Pete, it appears this worked. What I am working on is submiting a upload for taxes and the State I live in only accepts information in a certain format. I would just remove the decimal but there are over a thousand rows and if I changed the format, it would remove a zero at the end if there was one, ex 1450.50 was formating like 1450.5.

    so what would
    12558.00 be
    1255800

    you could just multiply by 100
    OR
    put 100 in a cell
    then select the cell
    copy
    and paste special
    then you can choose
    multiple -
    and select the numbers
