Hi for my High school AS level ICT coursework i need to create a system. The system i have chosen is a booking system for the ICT rooms in my school. So basically what it will do is allow teachers to book a room on a certain day and time for her class to use.

What i need help with is i want to use excel to make the booking system. I need a way to make a system which looks like a calender. I want it to work like if you click a day and time on the 'calender', another box pops up which asks for the teachers name, room # etc.
Also once then booking has been made only the user who made the booking and the administrator can remove or edit it.

I was also planning on making a log -in system for it so teachers have to log-in on to their account which then allows them to make a booking. I was wondering should i make the logging in system on excel or should i use another software (coding) so it looks more professional.

If you could link me to a post similar which can give a step by step guide on how to do this it would be awesome
