    Freezing rows & columns

    Excel 2003

I want to freeze Row 1 and Column A so they don't scroll with the rest of the sheet.

According to the Excel Help file I should select B2 and and choose Window --> Freeze Frames.

The end result for me is that Row 1 is frozen but Column A continues to scroll.

    Any advise please.

Selecting B2 and then Window> Freeze Panes should work.

Try doing it in a new work book and see if it works ok?
