I am looking at your title and then at your text. I have not a clue what you are trying to tell us or what your issue is. I am sure it is absolutely clear to you, but I can't see your screen and I flunked mind reading. Give us a clue by uploading a sample spreadsheet and telling us specifically what your issue is and what you hope to accomplish.

I have a set of data that is currently in this format:

    Data/Time
    1 Jan 1580.4 1575 1570.5 1570.5 1566.9 1570.5 1572.3 1570.5 1566.9 1573.2 1582.2 1584 1577.7 1575.9 1573.2 1575 1582.2 1577.7 1558.8 1559.7 1566.9 1578.6 1596.6 1620.9
    2 Jan 1626.3 1626.3 1627.2 1626.3 1623.6 1624.5 1628.1 1632.6 1633.5 1636.2 1665 1701.9 1688.4 1690.2 1708.2 1746 1746 1714.5 1719.9 1708.2 1701.9 1685.7 1694.7 1688.4
    etc..
all the way to 31 Dec.

I would like to convert the entire data set to one column which will be 8760 rows.

    Does that help?

Create a new sheet in your workbook. Call it Sheet1

Takes about 15 to 20 seconds to run.

Thank you.. a Godsend! Took me a little to get the hang of it.. but finally did! and well worth the effort. Had some trouble running it as I needed to make sure that the macro lined up with the data.. so actually took it onto myself to make some mods to the macro. Once I did that.. transposed all the data! Incredible..

    Amazing.. thank you!!!

Re: data set 365 days 24 hours.. want to covert to one column 8760..

    Hi,
I have a similar question: in the attache Excel, I want to combine Columns A (365 days) & B(24 hours) into one column in a format like this: 1/1/2015 1:00:00AM and so on. So that I can plot the 8760 hours trend line for those Gens's output. Is there a formula in Excel to realize this, or I would have to create a Macro?

    Thanks,
