Conditional Formatting not update through whole worksheet

    Hello Again =)

I have a table (formatted as a table if that matters...) which works like a planning calender.

There are over 40 rows which means to view some data, I need to scroll down a little bit to see the rest of the columns.

As well as containing some bulky "sumif's" to populate my calander, there is also conditional formatting on the columns which detect a certain number from the "sumif's" and assign it to a color.

when I filter my table reducing it down to a low number of rows, I get no issues but when I remove the filter, the conditional formatting appears to update the color of the text but "forget" to update the color of the cell unless they are re-drawn by either selecting the cells, highlighting the cells with the cursor or scrolling out of the screen and back in again.

is this a known issue with any solutions or work arounds?

Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to make it clear what is needed. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are demonstrated, mock them up manually if needed. Remember to desensitize the data.

Re: Conditional Formatting not update through whole worksheet

I have attached a spreadsheet to explain my problem.

    To view the issue:
Observe the pattern made on the spreadsheet.
select the "Control" and filter for only "Up"
    then remove the filter.
Then scroll down to observe the pattern made again.

notice that some of the cells are not colored in but the text has been colored.

a fix is to just scroll so you cant see those cells anymore and then scroll back to make them appear (like refreshing those cells by taking them off the screen)

The problem occurs on the sheet titled "THISSHEET".
to make it occur I filter control for "up" only.
then remove that filter and immediately scroll down to the orange colored "target" cells.

I will post a picture as an example however I will have to wait till I get home.

I tried the experiment with your workbook and found no problem.

This could be a refresh problem with your computer graphics card.

Before exploring that angle, use a utility such as Ccleaner to clean out all temporary files on your computer and then try again.

Re: Conditional Formatting not update through whole worksheet

I have now checked on my work laptop and several other laptops at work, my gf's laptop, my work pc and my pc and all experience this strange issue. here is a screen shot of the issue.
    Problem on excel.jpg
Here is a screenshot from my PC with the same thing happening... note that you can see a green "1" here but the cell isnt green (as it should be). so the cell appears to load without that formatting.

I tried this, but no cells changed color at all
