So I understand excel has some intelligence with this, but through trial-and-error I'm still having some difficulty understanding what I can and cannot do.
I'm creating a workbook called SalesWeekX.xlsm and another workbook called SummaryWeekX.xlsm
The Summary workbook imports lots of data from the Sales workbook, so many cells have references such as [SalesWeek1.xlsm]Sales!A1
Each week I want to save the template workbooks for the respective week. So after 10 weeks I would have 20 total workbooks. The problem is if I change the name of SalesWeekX to SalesWeek4, my references will (presumably) be get screwed up. Is there a way so I can rename a referenced workbook and have the Summary workbook still find the correct file? (much like the way you can rename tabs and excel will change your references accordingly within a workbook)
