Automatic Graphs

Hi, I was wondering if anyone can help.

If a list of data is imported in to Excel, which contains a few fields. Is it possible to set something up so that Excel automatically counts how many times each feild is mentioned, and then creates a graph? For example, the data may look like -

Person one
Person one
Person two
Person one
Person three
Person two
Person three

I know I could filer them, then manually count them up to make a graph table. I was just hoping that Excel could do it automatially for me?
