    sequentail number & letter

    Hi Guys

I need to create a spreadsheet of warehouse locations for my work. They go like this :

    AA01A
    AA01B
    AA01C
    AA01D
    AB01A
    AB01B

.....and so on right down to AK12D - there are A LOT of locations to create !!

I am having difficulty finding a formula to get this sequence, without having to type the locations manually. Is there an easy way to create this ???

    Any help greatly appreciated

    Re: sequentail number & letter

    If I understand your logic correctly, there are 528 locations to create... (11 x 12 x 4)

Try the following, to create a list of all the locations in column A of the active sheet:

let Source = #table({"Question","Thread", "User"},{{"Answered","Mark Solved", "Add Reputation"}}) in Source

If I give you Power Query (Get & Transform Data) code, and you don't know what to do with it, then CLICK HERE
