Sorting data to 15 Minute intervals.

    Hi There,
In the attached excel file I'd like to use data that was polled every 15 minutes. i.e 00:15, 00:30, 00:45, etc.
Can I do this without having to manually delete all the nonrequired data per each row?

Also I have many files of such data that and would like to combine the all them into one to represent data for the whole year polled at every 15 minutes.
How can I merge the files together?

    Thank you.

    We need more information.

    -------------------------

    1. What is your starting data point (i.e. what time to start)?
    2. Do you want to interpolate if a 15 minute data interval is not available?
    3. What processing do you want to do with the data (if any). Please provide sample output and/or description if there is processing.
    4. Are the data files in the same folder?
    5. Are the data files suitably named for merging?
The sample file you provided is well named '2012 04 20 data.csv'.
For example the following naming convention is easy to work with:
    ABC-2013-12-09.csv
    ABC-2013-12-10.csv
    ....
The following make things a lot harder (but still can be done):
    ABC-Dec-21-2013.csv (character months - BAD)
ABC-2013-12-9.csv (1 character day of the month - BAD)
    6. What format do you want for the merged file (e.g. identical csv or provide a sample Excel format)?
    7. Do you want to merge all data or for a specific date range?

I think it could be done by a macro.
Looking at your data, I saw lots of places that are not at 0:15 increment. I mean you have like 3:14 and 3:16 but nothing at 3:15. Is it a problem if you loose lots of those data?
