Enter this formula in G2 and copy down:
Formula:![]()
Please Login or Register to view this content.
Now, click in the data then on the Data Tab, click on the Filter button. Filter the records on column G selecting 1 as the filter. Select all the data then hold down the Alt key and hit ; This will select all the visible cells. Ctrl + C to copy these cells and then go to a place under the data and Ctrl+V to paste the data. This will give you a listing that has all the unique telephone numbers eliminating all numbers that have duplicates.

Thank you very much for your answers, it was really helpful but my boss changed his mind, he wants me to erase the duplicate data based on the age of the client. For example, if the same telephone number is registered to 2 different clients, he wants me to keep the record with the biggest age or the smaller.
Thank you again
anyone??![]()
Try this. It uses two helper columns and seems to work. The telephone numbers must be sorted in order before this will work. This will identify the oldest age for each number and leave blanks for the duplicates of lesser age.
Thank you very much, in deed it seems to work, is it possible to do the same based on the date and not the age?
Thank you again,

See "Pivot" TAB filtered oldest to newest
Yes, the date can be used instead of the age. I didn't do anything with the Pivot table but added the formulae to the original data so that you can do what you want.
