    expense & income calendar

    Hi,

I am trying to create calendar that populates my monthly, bi-monthly, bi-weekly and one off expenses as well as in come and be able to see it in the form of a calendar. the expense and income table can handle the calculations. I would like to see the name and amount of the expense on the corresponding date on he calendar. Is this possible?
    thanks,

    C

Yes, it is possible. How is your data laid out? It's a good idea to post an example workbook to save a lot of to-ing and fro-ing.

Sorry, had meant to attach it, but I forgot to do so. I would like to have it so that all months could be populated from the data without having to manipulate th difference between bi-monthly, weekly or bi-weekly.sample data.xlsx

I think you would need to specify the first date that applied to each entry, and you also need to be more specific about bi-weekly (e.g. for groceries) - does this mean Monday and Friday, or Tuesday/Saturday? Also, when do you receive your salary? You can't expect Excel to guess these things.

bi-weekly means once every two weeks, bi-monthly means twice a month - 15th & last day of the month.

Sounds like the difference between biennial and bi-annual.

It is not a good idea to specify the last day as 31 - what about those months that do not have 31 days?

Having thought about this some more since my first post, I think the solution you are looking for would be very cumbersome. You will need to generate, for each of your entries, every date that the entry will occur on for your chosen year, and then put that extended list into a calendar format. Although I have produced several calendars for other posters on this forum, I do not have time at the moment to dedicate to this, so I will have to withdraw from this thread.

Perhaps someone else will chip in.
