I am using Excel 2007 and am not familiar with merging spreadsheets in the following way:
Two spreadsheets with seperate data but both have times and dates that tally. Can anyone describe how to merge these two sheets accrording to date and time?

Are these two sheets in the same workbook, or two separate workbooks (files) ?
I suggest you post example workbook(s) which illustrate what you have and what you are trying to achieve.

This is in the same workbook but seperate tabs. I have tried using Consolidate and Subgroups to select the correct filters but the two sheets are not merging as I hoped.
Post an example workbook as requested in Post #2. Explain clearly what you want to achieve.

Moved from Tips and Tutorials.
I have attached an example of the data I would like to merge.
There are three tabs: device, keyboard and merge. I would like a technique for merging 'device' with 'keyboard' onto the currently empty Merge tab so that dates and times correspond as one document.
I hope this helps.
Gav.
