I want to check the mileage trend not sure how to do this

I have 3 columns here

Car Date Mileage
d500
d500
d500
d500
4555
4555
4555
4555
and so on

dates are unique and mileages are sometimes same and sometimes more than the previous
I want to work out which car has the same mileage and which cars mileage has been same or reduced
Bear in mind that there are multiple entries for same car and need to find out the change in mileage in different entries
Excel/Access solutions are welcome

Hi,

This is not clear, at least to me. You really need to upload a workbook with some typical data values and manually add the results you expect to see.

Phrases like 'which car has the same mileage' can mean many things. The same mileage for the same car on all days, or perhaps the previous day. The same mileage as another car.

You tell us mileages are sometimes the same and sometimes more, so how can a mileage be reduced as you ask for.

Hi,

No it would be unwise to assume it isn't possible. Almost certainly it is. However you will need to upload your workbook as indicated in the guidance section of the rules and as previously requested.

Most people are reluctant to start creating your data from scratch when you already have an actual workbook.
