    Need help with a Date stamp of sorts

    Each day, we will do a number of inspections on a particular sales order and our clerk will add up the total for that day and enter it on a spreadsheet that looks like this.
    I want excel to put the date in column 'A' whenever the value of Row '2' changes. And rows 3,4,5,etc. We can have up to 2000 sales orders in the top row per year.

    Any suggestions?

    Do right click on sheet tab and select view code and paste the below code. Return to excel and check.

    But the below code will work when the update happens in a single column alone, multi column inputs won't work

    Based on your last post in this thread, its apparent that you are satisfied with the solution(s) you've received and have solved your question, but you haven't marked your thread as "SOLVED". I will do it for you this time.
