Part Excel question here - is it possible to make a Group Contact in Outlook out of a name list in Excel?

I've a list of names:

Lucy Smith
Jack Sparrow
Steve Spielberg

As I'm emailing the same document to them all, I wish to automatically make Lucy.Smith@companyname.com, Jack.Sparrow@companyname.com, and so on. Am I describing a Mail Merge?
