    Second sorting rule?

    Hey!

Its my first time here so I'll try to be as brief and as clear as possible. Hopefully someone can help!

    I got colums A,B,C,D,E,F

I got about 1000 rows and each row contains complete info about a Product, stacked through colums A-F.

I want to sort the Products after year they were introduced to the market (colum F) - this I can manage. But my problem is this:

Several Products were introduced to the market in the same year, and to make the sorting even "better" i want to sort those Products within the same year after Product name. (This is column B).

Simply: I want to first sort after column F, and then after column B but keep the original sorting and keep all data in one document.

    Please help!

    Thanks

    Ocek

Incredible.. I Actually solved it myself about 10 Seconds after I posted here. I spendt about 1h googling for the answer... It was so simple.

Simply sort by year, as I did, the just highlight (mark) those cells that are in the same year-group and sort them for letters! Cant belive I did not think of this. I Guess it is a case of the "Fridays".

    Thanks anyway
