I am new here, not sure if this is the right section?

I have a xls sheet with numerical values that auto-updates values from the internet.

I would like to automatically plot the change in these values over time on a graph, for example with daily values (info is extracted once a day and is fed into a graph that charts this information, so there in the graph there is, for example, a bar for each day with the value extracted that day)

I am a relative beginner on excel, so please include links in your explanation if you are telling me about something complicated I should learn first.

Example: xls cell tracks dollar value, updated once a day. Today's dollar value in my local currency is 34, tomorrow it is 36, the day after is 23 or whatever. I'd like to see a graph with these values for every day of the month, and this was done automatically by excel.
