Pasting into Excel from PDF of Html websites or other sites is inconsistent. Some days when I do it with the same documents it pastes everything into Column A only and others it pastes the content into various cells, which is what I want. How can I fix this. This also varies between my colleagegue's and my machines. We copy paste CTRL+V. Not special text only. It seems random?
It sometimes deepens how you copy your text from the PDF.
The layout of the PDF page can be different and is just matter of one of two lines and your pasting will be different.
Try past first to Notepad or Word and then copy to Excel or use a tool(software) to transfer data from PDF to Excel

If the user has already performed a delimited Text to Columns operation or a text import, the paste operation will apply the same delimiters if they are present in the pasted data.
