I have a column of data in Excel with hyperlinks for each cell which link each to a unique Powerpoint presentation. I select the range of data in Excel, then from Powerpoint use Paste Special-Paste Link (Microsoft Office Excel Worksheet Object).

The text comes through in Powerpoint looking like a Hyperlink, but in reality, the hyperlink is no longer active. My workaround is to place a transparent box with no border lines over the top of the text in Powerpoint, and then link the box to the same hyperlink used in Excel.

This is time consuming, especially when I need to edit the list. I have to move the boxes around to match. Non-value added for sure! Please advise.

I'm using Office 2007.
