Drop down list for a period of years

I am new to Excel and have no idea how it works

I have planned to chart a year of sales in my shop and here is my Q

My financial year starts from April of one year and ends in March of the next so i need a drop down list for say

2013-2014
2014-2015
and so on and when i choose say option A) 2013-2014 i need another drop down list starting from April2013 down to March2014
and when i choose April2013 i need the days starting from 01-04-2013 down to 30-04-2013 and so on for that entire year. Also while i am in the days i would like to plot the sales of different products say from A to Z which should remain constant for whichever financial year i am choosing.

Also I would like to know if this is the easiest way to do for this kind off charts or are there any other alternatives
