    MS Query

I am pretty new to MS query in Excel and SQL. I'm trying to use a small .xls workbook as a relational database and use some SQL on it for practice. However, when I add the tables to the query the headers seem to change all the full stops into hashtags (for instance 2.5 becomes 2#5)- is there a way round this? I've tried formatting all the headers as text in the original .xls file unfortunately that doesn't seem to have worked.

    Re: MS Query

I'm not familiar with this problem, but instead of text, maybe the decimal format will work.
