Continue to add data to cell formula

Hi guys.

Is their a way to keep adding to a formula without having to amend the actual formula?

I would just like to hide the formula and keep subtracting from A1. I would like B2 to be blank and be able to enter multiple/simple subtractions from A1 but keep the formula going.

Ie

A1 = 1000
B1 = Sum(A1-5-7-2-4)

B1 =982

Please attach a sample workbook with enough data to make it clear what is needed. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are demonstrated, mock them up manually if needed. Remember to desensitize the data.
