Possible to Alternate Colors of Multiple Rows of Categories

I have looked online for help in this regard, but it seems like most people want alternating colors for every other row. I would like alternating colors for multiple rows of same category material.

It's for a law firm, so I can't use real figures, so I'll make it about baseball and it's basically something like this:

Team | Unique Team Number | Player

New York Yankees | 33 | Babe Ruth
New York Yankees | 33 | Mickey Mantle
New York Yankees | 33 | Derek Jeter
Baltimore Orioles | 34 | Cal Ripken, Jr.
Balitmore Orioles | 34 | Eddie Murray
Chicago Cubs | 35 | Ryne Sandberg
Chicago Cubs | 35 | Sammy Sosa

So basically I would like the Yankees to be default white and all the Orioles to be some other color, like light gray, and then the Cubs are back to default white, and so on. It could be done manually in a baseball sense, of course, but I'm dealing with thousands of matters. They do all have unique numbers, so is there a way to pivot off of that in the style options?
