Copy and paste cells of relative position ,then copy to others w'o alter

Task : copy a group of cells of relative position to destination, of which the cells of destination can be re-copied and pasted to any parts of the worksheet without alter due to the relative positions be changed in the copying process.

    Mechanical procedures as:
    1. Copy cells at column A, then
    2. Paste at VALUE to cells at column D to F at corresponding row.

Question: how to build the formula in the pasting cells to make the process be done by itself but not the mechanical procedures cell by cell.

    Thanks for your reply.

It seems not to my purpose. Please see the attached sheet.
Please notice the highlighted cells are being copied and pasted from cells with copy formula, and it doesn't give the results same of the mother cell.

    Thanks.

Why do you want to use relative references? Absolute references do what you want. =$A$25

    Thanks for your assistance.
To use absolute reference, =$A$25 works fine if I copy and paste on the same sheet, but not work if I copy and paste on a different sheet of the worksheet or to another worksheet, as what it works if I use the mechanical procedure to copy and paste in "value" cell by cell.

Select the formula in the Formula Bar, copy, hit escape, go to the destination sheet and cell and paste. Both relative and absolute references work. Another way is to use the clipboard...select the formula in the Formula Bar, copy, hit escape......paste where you like.

    Thanks for newdoverman's kindly reply.
I have tried as what you described. I guess I must have some misunderstood with your procedures, and the results I got in accordance to your procedure is not the same as what I expected. The procedures and corresponding are shown on attached sheet.

Re: Copy and paste cells of relative position ,then copy to others w'o alter

It is easy to see what is happening. You wanted the exact formula that is in sheet1 and pasted that formula into F2 of sheet2. The formula that got pasted was exactly the same formula that is in sheet1. That formula on sheet1 was =A12. When pasted into sheet2 it still says =A12 which is A12 of sheet2.

You are wanting to copy and paste the contents of sheet1!C12 into sheet to while retaining the what cell sheet1!C12 is referring to. To do that, click on Steet1!c12 and COPY. Go to Sheet2! and RIGHT click in the destination cell and choose PASTE LINK.

    Bingo. That's what I want.

Then it moves to the major concern---how can I build the formula to do such action in auto if this action applied to a bulk qty of cells?

Anyway thank for your kindly advice and concern.

If the cells that you want to copy are a range of cells, select the range, copy then go to the upper left of the destination and PASTE LINK.

I have one suggestion. When you want a value like this case shows in that the cell being copied is only retrieving the value from one cell, don't copy that cell but go to the source cell instead.

I get your point. To copy a range of cells, select the range, copy then go to the upper left of the destination and PASTE LINK.....
Then , if I need to apply these actionS on a bulk qty of cells, and I want to use formula to let these actions to be done by itself instead of doing it in individual, how can I do?

Re: Copy and paste cells of relative position ,then copy to others w'o alter

If you want to copy non-contiguous cells then you have to do it one group of contiguous cells or single cells (which ever is the case) and copy one at a time.

Does it mean that these kind of action need to be done manually , and can't be built with some kinds of formula at the upper left the cell of the range for non-contiguous range. Right?
