Question Automatic Update of Each Tabs in a Excel

Hi

I have a record of 10 employees which include their DOJ, Salary, Bonus, Leaves taken and so on. Every month I receive this file in the same format. Now my Requirement is I need to create a master file , in which the first tab will be consolidated report i.e copying every month detail back to back.Rest of the tabs will contain each employee details. Every month when i update the consolidated tab, automatically employee tabs should also get updated

Thanks in advance
Shedar

Have You tried to update the "Consolidated Report" and use the VLOOKUP on the employee Sheets to update from the "Consolidated Report".

Thanks Cl.Klink for your response

I am not clear about your solution. Please correct me if I am wrong

Do you mean to say each time I have to do a VLOOK UP and that too by using vlook up how can i update the respective employee tabs

Hi and welcome to the forum

Now my Requirement is I need to create a master file , in which the first tab will be consolidated report i.e copying every month detail back to back
Perhaps you could explain in more detail, what you mean there? Or, better yet, upload a sample workbook, showing a few examples of what you have, what you want, and how your got that (only upload non-sensitive info please)
To attach a file to your post,
click advanced (next to quick post),
scroll down until you see "manage file",
click that and select "add files" (top right corner).
click "select files" find your file, click "open" click "upload" click 'done" bottom right. click "submit reply"

Once the upload is completed the file name will appear below the input boxes in this window.
You can then close the window to return to the new post screen.
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you
