    How to - ( Book1 - Filter & Copy) --> (Book2 - Filter & Paste)?

    Hi All,

I am new to this forum and this is my first post. If something is wrong in my post please let me know to correct it.

I am in need of help for which i strongly believe i can get solutions only in Excel forum.

Here is my question and i am trying to explain as much as possibly i can.

I've 2 excel books which has almost same information and same order. But Book1 (Copy_sheet.xlsx) contains all cell values where Book2 (Paste_Sheet.xlsx) do not have it for one particular cell.
This can be identified when you filter "T" in Element column - column "D" will b empty.

    I need to copy the content from Book1 (Copy_sheet.xlsx) to Book2 (Paste_Sheet.xlsx).

Here is the step i want to do.

    Book1 (Copy_sheet.xlsx)
    ------------------------
    1. Filter "App" -- select "Tier1App"
    2. Filter "Element" -- select "T"
    3. Copy content in "Col".

    Book2 (Paste_Sheet.xlsx)
    1. Filter "App" -- select "Tier1App"
    2. Filter "Element" -- select "T"
    3. Paste copied content.

When i tried doing this, only 1 cell pasted other cell not pasted. I can't just copy/paste full content as i receive different excel books for "App" selection.

Please help me out here. I've attached the sample excel book also.

I understand about the data to be copied. What I don't understand is where the data is to be pasted in the Paste worksheet. Your explanation makes no sense to me. To get you started, here is the copy and paste code (filtered) and pastes it to the second sheet of the first file in cell A1 as I did not understand your paste issue. You can modify this as needed.
