Excel 2007 opening exact same file twice

Have recreated profile on citrix server and still opens same excel file twice. this isnt the same issue as 'View->New Window' . If I attempt to close one of the excel windows.. both excel windows close. this is repeated for any excel file i open. Only one user has this issue. <<scratching head>>

windows 7 .. No other office applications affected.

Thanks in advance for possible advice/solutions

For me i didn't encounter something like that but try this maybe just???!

Start - > Run - > Excel /unregserver
then
Start - > Run - > Excel /regserver
