How can I check one column of data for matches, then return other columns' data?

I basically have a 20 columns and thousands of rows. Column A has 10 different variables. I want to enter a formula into another sheet to pull all (or some) of the rows where column a is a particular value.

(This would essentially achieve the same thing as using auto filter, sorting by the values in column A, and deleting the rest. ... only, I don't want to delete any data)

Which function would I use?
