Hello. If I select a group of non-contiguous cells with control shift is there any way that I can shift the same selection over to the next column. For example, I have A4 and A8 selected. When I press shift and right arrow it doesn't work. Helpie.

Try instead...
Shift + F8 >> then the right arrow

Shift F8 and then right arrow doesn't work for me. I select two cells with control shift, then I do shift F8 and it only adds one of the cells in the column to the right. WAIT, I see what shift 8 does, but that's not I want. Let's say for example, you have A2 and A3 highlighted, you can press shift right and then A2:B3 will be highlighted. I want to do the same thing but with a large number of non adjacent cells (for example, A1, A5, A9,A13, A17, A22, etc)
Can this be done?

Press Shift+F8 (it gets into add selection mode!).. then select the cells that you want to select
Life's a spreadsheet, Excel!
Say thanks, Click *
Just to try and make it more clear:
Click on A1 (your first selection) then Shift+F8. With the mouse click on " A1, A5, A9,A13, A17, A22, etc" . This will select every cell that you click on or click and drag to make a selection. Click on Copy or Ctrl+C and paste where you want.
