    Locate Password of a Protected excel sheet

    Hi all,

    I read somewhere that password of a protected excel sheet is located in the sheet itself , hidden somewhere. So , it can be located by some "curious" ones.

    So my first question is , IS IT TRUE??

    Second question is , how can we find that password and prevent anyone from detecting it??

    excel's password protection is poor at best. anyone with some fairly basic VBA knowledge can get around it.

    Any discussion regarding how to find passwords goes against forum rules though, so I would say that this thread should now be closed
