Looking to make a schedule for a sports league using excel. I have checked out other threads:

The issue I am having is that the responses only allow for two teams per column. I am looking to make 3 teams per column which dont repeat. I've tried simple formulae but this seems more complicated than that. Any ideas.

Example schedule:
18 teams over 9 weeks. Each team plays each other once in groups of three:
1vs2vs3
4vs5vs6
7vs8vs9
and so on, but have it so that after 9 weeks everyone has played each other only once.
