Excel gets stuck on a cell

Hello,

I have a client that enters a lot of data into various spreadsheets, we recently upgraded her computer and along with it upgraded Office to 2013. Since that has happened she has experienced some issues with navigating cells in Excel. What will happen is she will be typing than tabbing or using the arrow keys and all of a sudden the active cell will get stuck on one of them. Arrow keys do not move the cursor to the next cell and the only way for her to fix it is to alt tab to another spreadsheet and then back to the one she was working on. Once that is done it is working fine.

There seems to be no rhyme or reason to when this happens to her. I have re-installed (used the big one that re-downloads from the web), it has no add-ins on either that are conflicting and I know it is not the keyboard since when I log in through TeamViewer while it is happening I am also unable to move with the arrow keys.

Anyone see this issue before?

From what the users has told me the files doesn't matter but it has happened twice on one file that she remembers. I will check to see if it is macro enabled spreadsheet when she is in tomorrow. I know the add-ins are not the issue because she has all the add-ins disabled all the time already.

I'll check to see if its turned on but she is accessing the excel files on the server share

Been a bit since I posted in here but the issue still is happening. I was going to disable her Macros but not all her sheets seem to have them. There is definitely one that the freezing has happened on that does not have any macros on them.
I don't see any panes being frozen, the cell will be working throughout the day and then randomly it locks to it.

Any other ideas?

It isn't crashing. If you click off of it and back on to it it works again

It is already set to Best Performance. This is not a crashing issue as excel itself still works it just gets stuck on that cell

Any updates on this? I have almost the exact same issue Excel 2013, the user gets stuck in a cell and can only get out by clicking on another sheet or window. The program does not freeze and logs nothing in the event log. The user is working on network files but I have already checked the network and it is fine. I even added more RAM to the PC and repaired Office. The only things that I can find online that are similar recommend disengaging "scroll lock" and replacing the keyboard (which I have not tried yet). Any help?

We did re-installs which only helped for a bit.
It looks like another tech of mine was able to possibly resolve the issue through running Windows Update. Our client's computer was unable to do Windows Update, once that was fixed it ran through 69 Updates and has been good for 150 days
