Best way or resource to learn excel basics???

Hi Excel users,

I recently accepted a research position and data is analysed using excel. I have 6 weeks to learn the basic functions, specifically relating to health/public health research. I have a quite basic knowledge of excel, thought will need to greatly extend my knowledge. If there are any resources/tips/advice in learning the program more thoroughly in a limited time, please inform. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Hi xixx,

Obviously I have no idea of what your existing knowledge is regarding VB.
I started with recording macros (which is VB script) and then looking at the script produced by recording a macro.
In the videos (from the link I attached earlier), you can select Excel 2010 Expert Skills and there are references to macros and VB in Session 8 Lessons 11 to 16.
If you are new to VB this may be a good place to start.
