Copy data between worksheets, data drills down when saved.

Sorry about the above description being pants and also for creating a new thread straight after another one - however this is a different subject :-)

I have an estimate database full of customer details and generates an estimate number. I currently use word and manually type all the fields in again.

I have created a layout on Excel to suit but need a way of copying the data from a sheet called 'ESTIMATE DB' to 'ESTIMATE TEMPLATE' - the problem is the data entries need to change depending which row of details you need to use. I have created an extra row in my ESTIMATE DB sheet called 'Start' to input a 'Y' or 'N' field. I wonder if this would help?

This isn't something I think you could do for me, I'm looking more so for relevant syntax so I can work it out alone. (I think I may need to use VLOOKUP or something???)

    Thanks!
