Disable auto named range "Extract" after using advanced filter

    Hi everyone,

every time I use the advanced filter (usually to extract unique values to a new sheet), Excel automatically creates a named range called "Extract" for the result of the filter.

I can not start to explain how friggin' annoying this is!

Does anybody know how to disable this?

    TIA,
    James

Nope, the regular "advanced filter" found on the upper ribbon on the "Data" tab... What, nobody else has ever noticed this? It happens in my Excel 2007 at home, and in my Excel 2010 at work, so...
