I'm new to forum and would appreciate some help.
Ive got a 3 column table of over 10000 rows. In a column A are names in B are tweets by the person AB in column A. What I would like to do is select a 5 random samples of a particular AB person in A and for it to display for tweet from column B. However what I am finding tricky is I want it to pick a sample from a range of only AB rows. Is that possible.

Hi thanks for your reply. I've attached a sample of a few lines of all the data I export.I want to randomly select a reply that is listing in column Q from a pool of all the entries of of a certain name listed in column R.

I have attached a sample solution. V1 contains the name of interest (in this case Michael Whitehead). Column W contains a unique marker for each of the "Whitehead" rows. X2 picks one of these markers at random. X2 uses the typical MATCH-INDEX to get the equivalent value from column Q.
