Our client has given us a spread sheet where the first column is the fault number, the third is an English description, the fourth French, Spanish, German, etc. The 2nd column is useless and I can delete that. The description strings are just text, not quoted. When I copy it out there is no telling where one string ends and another ends. But I really don't even need quotes, all I need is a delimiter so I can touch up the fields and put them in an array of structs with C or even Tcl. I thought there was once a way to make a comma (or delimiter) output list. The file is of type .xls.
Thanks,
John
