    Re: User friendly worksheet/form

    Hi GOBBYGIBBO

Here's my attempt at a solution.

The sheet is protected (but no password) to prevent unauthorised changes.

By clicking the blue button, the data will be posted to a newly cleared first line on Sheet 2. If any box is not completed, the copying will not be allowed.

Once the data is copied, the sheet will be cleared for the next user. A print routine could be incorporated just before clearing.

I have put a button to enter test data - saves some time.

I would not let the great unwashed have access to all the data (one of my little foibles surfacing here ) - I would use the data from Sheet2 to populate my private file, clearing out sheet 2 on a regular basis

Let me know if it works for you

    Regards
    Alastair

Brilliant, just what's required. And yes I agree, the data will be moved to my file.

Glad it works. Perhaps you will mark this thread as solved? (Go to your first post and edit the title)
