Application.Calculation Manual & FOR NEXT loops

HI,

I have a huge macro that I'm trying to speed up by setting the calculations manually and using the .calculate function to do the ranges as they're needed. The problem I seem to be having though is unless I have calculations set to Auto right before the FOR NEXT loops, the macro doesn't seem to work.

Is there some consideration with calculating and FOR NEXT loops?

The FOR NEXT loop has a variable in it.

do I have to:

calculate D ...or something if autocalc is set to manual?
