One slow sheet

I have a three sheet book. Sheets two and three work perfectly but sheet one is extremely slow (Page Up/Down can take up to ten seconds. All three have formulae interacting with the other sheets. Calculation is set at 'Manual'.

I have checked all Tools/Options and Customise sections and the page setup. I can find no difference.

The only thing that I use that is different is on Sheet One I have a small number of simple WordArt features. I is the same WordArt copied down to about one in seven pages.

Can anyone help please?

Hi and welcome to the forum,

I'm see worksheets where thousands of wordart or shapes are on a sheet but too small to see. It happened because of copy and paste and the shapes/objects were small.

Try this... Select Sheeet 1 and click on F5 then on the Special button and then on Objects and Delete. See if this speeds up sheet1.

If you need those 5 WordArt you can then put them back.

Thanks. That worked!!! I have been trying for weeks to find the solution!!!! I can now do the work in half the time!!!!
