    Decrement Cells in Excel

    I am trying to create a column which lists another column's values in reverse order. For example, for 100 names, B1 will hold name A100, B2 will hold A99, etc. What kind of formula will reverse the order? Entering =A100-1 in B1 gives the #VALUE error and Excel does not pick up the reverse pattern when formulas are added manually (entering =A100, =A99, in B1, B2 respectively and dragging down). Does anyone have an idea?

    Thanks!

    =index(a:a, 101 - row())
