Transferring from multiple cells and lookup various variables

    Hi

Could someone please help with an issue I have concerning arranging variables to achieve one outcome.

I have a products sheet that I need to obtain certain information

Product ID Product Name Parent ID Needed outcome
    27 Aromatherapy Boxes 11 Aromatherapy///Aromatherapy Boxes

    11 Aromatherapy Root

Somehow I need to be able to get an outcome where a cell obtains parent id and looks it up so product 27 would therefore show 11///27, Aromatherapy///Aromatherapy Boxes.

I then need to associated a number in this case 27 to replace 27 in another spread sheet.

    Hope that makes sense.

    Hi king10001,

    Welcome to the forum

Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to make it clear what is needed. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are demonstrated, mock them up manually if needed. Remember to desensitize the data.

Re: Transferring from multiple cells and lookup various variables

from cat sheet the outcome needs to transferred to spreadsheet excelforum in the relevant cat id no

    so for example

Massage and Base Oils///100ml Massage and Bath Oils Category ID is 31 so Massage and Base Oils///100ml Massage and Bath Oils
needs to be transferred to excel forum spreadsheet in place of the no 31

Re: Transferring from multiple cells and lookup various variables

Thanks for the brief but the attachment you are sharing is having only one sheet.

Make sure there is just enough data to make it clear what is needed. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are demonstrated, mock them up manually if needed. Remember to desensitize the data.
