Stop Text Wrapping when Pasting long Addresses into Excel

    Hey guys,

Is there a way to set all the cells on my sheet NOT to Wrap Text, when they are pasted into?
When cutting & pasting long addresses into cells I often have to manually turn of the Wrap Text option for each cell, as to stop the row height expanding massively.

    Many thanks,
    j

Is wrap text selected in the data you're copying and pasting from? Excel brings in formatting when you paste by default. If so, you can copy > paste special > value, and that won't bring in the wrap text formatting.

I am cutting & pasting addresses from the web.. presumable there is no formatting in this text?
I just dont understand why I cant set my whole sheet/workbook, not to wrap text regardless of what is pasted into it..

Do you have that issue every time you copy and paste data or only sometimes? Do you always copy & paste from the same site, or different sites? It is not always safe to assume no formatting on text if you didn't create it.

Once copied in to cells, you can remove all wrap cells by a macro code.
